Remember last week when Chloe started school and I was so proud of myself for not crying? Well that didn't last long! When I picked her up the first day (last Wednesday) the teacher said she had cried some throughout the day, but Chloe was happy after school and said she loved it so I thought we were gonna be fine. Well Thursday, she didn't go because we were out of town, then it was the weekend, which brings us to today. I pulled up into the parking lot at school and she starts whining a little about not wanting to go, wanting to stay with me, etc... When it's time to go in, she then starts crying, hanging onto my leg as we walk up to the door, once inside she begins to cry loudly and panic while begging me to take her home. So after holding her for a few minutes and trying to calm her down, the teacher says whenever I'm ready she'll take over... so when I say okay, she then has to PRY chloe off from me, she was holding on for dear life, seriously the girl had me in a head lock, it was as if she was being kidnapped or something, I had never seen her like that before. So I then run out and say goodbye at the "magic window" only to hear all the way to my van, "MOMMY NO MOMMY NO MOMMY NO"
Totally broke my heart.
On my way home and then on to work, I prayed the Lord would help her (and me!)
Well 11:00 o'clock came and Lenny called me to say "Chloe had lots of fun, the teacher said after you left she calmed right down and was super good all day, plus SHE WANTS TO GO BACK TOMORROW!"
I pray she doesn't change her mind before then, I don't think I could handle another morning like that :)
